I painted this piece because I’ve always believed that art should be a sanctuary—a place where you can pause, breathe, and find a moment of total calm. The ocean has a special way of washing away life’s noise, and I wanted to translate that peaceful feeling directly onto the canvas. For me, creating this was all about bringing the soothing, effortless magic of a sunny day by the shore right into your home.
To capture that quiet tranquility, I selected a soft, luminous palette of crystal-clear turquoise, deep ocean blues, and warm golden sands. I structured the composition in relaxed horizontal layers to mirror the natural flow of the tide, adding just a touch of subtle green foliage at the edge to frame the view. My goal was to create a gentle, airy atmosphere that fills the space with light and fresh ocean air.
